The Silva console is conceived as a functional artwork positioned at the intersection of contemporary sculpture and collectible design. Its composition is structured around a precise dialogue between material, line, and the way volumes are shaped and carved, giving the piece a strong sculptural presence.
The top combines the almost mineral depth of black lacquer with a carefully selected oak burl, whose singular natural pattern defines the overall structure of the composition. The legs are hollowed in response to the burl’s free contours, extending this formal logic through a controlled balance between solid mass and openings.
Subtle accents of gold leaf highlight the sculptural cutouts, introducing a measured luminous vibration in contrast with the disciplined rigor of the black lacquer. Resin, noble wood, and precious finishes are employed as plastic elements serving a coherent and intense composition. Silva is produced as a one-of-a-kind work.
