Before fully dedicating himself to his artistic practice, Louis-Marie Vincent spent over fifteen years working on the restoration of prestigious furniture and works of art, notably for the Louvre, the Château de Versailles, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, as well as the Musée des Arts Décoratifs et du Design de Bordeaux.
Grounded in advanced training in the conservation and restoration of antique furniture and in chemistry, he has instilled this culture of rigor and material knowledge within the workshops of MAISON LOUIS-MARIE VINCENT. Today, the house retains the ability to undertake, on a selective basis, restoration projects involving antique and Art Deco furniture for private collectors, art galleries, and institutions, following an approach that fully respects the integrity and authenticity of each work.
