Following the creation of La Rêveuse chest of drawers in 2022 for the Mobilier national’s “Les Aliénés” collection, entirely enveloped in a sculpted cloud of Lunépière material, Maison Louis-Marie Vincent was commissioned to conceive a new sculptural intervention on a black lacquered Pleyel grand piano for the renowned decorator Jacques Garcia.

Cloud forms sculpted in Lunépière embrace the rim and rear leg of the instrument, establishing an organic dialogue with the rigor of its silhouette. The intervention was conceived with absolute respect for the opening of the lid, the instrument’s mechanics, and its functional integrity, affirming an approach in which sculpture accompanies the object without ever altering its essential purpose.
